Dr Feheem Bhamjee is a registered specialist in Oral Medicine and Periodontology. He is an expert in the diagnosis and management of oral diseases as well as the reconstruction of the gum and bone that form the foundation of your smile.

He is a specialist in dental implant treatment planning and all aspects of dental implant surgery.  His 15 years of postgraduate experience and advanced training both locally and internationally  has placed him amongst South Africas best dental implant surgeons.

His specialist interests include aesthetic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, periodontal plastic surgery and regenerative techniques.  His overseas training and continuous education has allowed him to excel in complex immediate dental implant reconstructions.

Dr Bhamjee is a founder and co-director of Matrix Dental Specialists, a unique specialist dental practice offering a wide range of dental treatments of the highest interInternational standards.

He currently serves as  Secretary  of the South African Society of Periodontology Implantology and Oral Medicine (SASPIO),  and is an active member within organisations such as the ; International Team Implantology (ITI) ;  South African Dental Association (SADA) ; South African Association of Osseointegration and South African Association of Aesthetic Dentistry (SAAAD)

Dr Bhamjee received his dental degree in 2007, from the Universities of Stellenbosch and the Western Cape, achieving three consecutive nominations and awards from the prestigious Golden Key society. After completing his community service year in the rural North West province, he entered as an associate in private practices around Johannesburg and Sandton.

Dr Bhamjee received a postgraduate diploma in oral implantology in 2009, completed the prestigious colleges of medicine primary examinations in 2010 and another postgraduate diploma in oral surgery with the University of Pretoria in 2011. From 2014 to 2017 he completed his full time masters degree in Oral medicine and Periodontology.  He then went on to Brazil and Portugal for advanced training in immediate dental implant rehabilitation techniques. In 2020 he completed a Master Course in Regenerative and Plastic-Esthetic Periodontal Surgery with the world’s most prestigious Dental School, the University of Bern.
